ATBT
Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade. A treaty intended to remove unnecessary obstacles to international trade in the preparation, adoption, and application of technical standards, technical regulations, and conformity assessment procedures. Like the AGP, the ATBT applies at all levels of government in signatory nations, as well as to all non-governmental standards development organizations in member nations.
