Ecma
Ecma International, also known as the European Association for Standardizing Information and Communication Systems. Ecma is a software industry consortium that develops standards for information and communication technology as well as for consumer electronics. Formerly known as the European Computer Manufacturers Association ("ECMA"), the organization's present name is commonly mistakenly written in all capital characters; however, the name was formally changed in 1994.
